1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Safely ("the Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
2. Description of Service
Safely is a platform that connects clients with licensed security guards for on-demand security services. The Platform facilitates booking, payment processing, and communication between clients and guards.
3. User Responsibilities
3.1 Clients
- Provide accurate information when creating bookings
- Pay for services as agreed upon
- Treat guards with respect and professionalism
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
3.2 Guards
- Maintain valid security guard licenses and certifications
- Provide professional security services
- Arrive on time for scheduled bookings
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
4. Payment Terms
- All payments are processed securely through Stripe
- Platform fee of 20% is applied to all transactions
- Tips are passed through 100% to guards
- Refunds are subject to our refund policy
- Payouts to guards are processed weekly on Thursdays
5. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance: Full refund
- Cancellations made 2-24 hours in advance: 50% refund
- Cancellations made less than 2 hours in advance: No refund
- Emergency cancellations may be considered on a case-by-case basis
6. Liability and Insurance
Guards are required to maintain appropriate insurance coverage. Safely provides platform liability insurance, but guards are responsible for their own professional liability insurance. Clients are responsible for ensuring their premises are safe for security services.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Please review our Privacy Policy for detailed information about how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
8. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are prohibited on the Platform:
- Sharing contact information to bypass the platform
- Providing false or misleading information
- Engaging in illegal activities
- Harassment or discrimination
- Violation of security protocols
9. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts that violate these terms. Users may terminate their accounts at any time by contacting support.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or platform notification.
